Quote: "Yes, on the battlefield, now against the enemy, on our land, when they use cluster munitions against us, we will use the same weapons against them. And this is fair."

Details: Zelenskyy has stressed that Ukraine received cluster munitions in 2023, after nine years of combat actions against Ukraine by the Russian Federation, which included various weapons – some of them prohibited in most countries, such as cluster munitions.

According to the President, nine years ago, Ukraine started talking about the world's ban on the use of cluster munitions against civilians.

"Nine years have passed. They [cluster munitions] have been and are still being used. We were given cluster munitions... Where is the evidence that Ukraine used cluster munitions on Russian territory? There is no such evidence. It does not exist," he said.
