Police said several people have died in a plane crash in western Switzerland near the French border on Saturday morning.
The accident happened at around 10:20 am (0820 GMT) in the municipality of Les Ponts-de-Martel, close to Lake Neuchâtel, police said.
Rescue efforts were on site in steep terrain, regional broadcaster RTN reported online. The number of victims and type of aircraft is not yet known.
